The problem with any "deal" Schumer orchestrates centered around imposition of new "rules" for ICE is that the problem currently isn't the absence of rules (see, U.S. Const), it's the absence of enforcement of said rules.

I think it's safe to assume that anything we hear from the Trump administration, unless supported by independent evidence, is a lie.

The only way the United States gets its reputation back is to hold our elites and leaders to higher standards and to do so will likely require rewriting the Constitution.
