I sincerely hope that Amazon pokes the bear bad enough that someone sends a formal cease and desist letter. Stuff like this should be barred from ever happening.
I just found out that our stuff is being sold on Amazon - WITHOUT our consent or any ability to opt out bc Amazon is just scraping artist’s websites and putting our shit in their search results. Again, without our permission.

Anecdotally, lots of shoppers have mentioned wanting to support indie artists and wanted an "amazon-free Christmas" this year in response to their nonsense. This is their response.
Creatures in the ecommerce world - a pissed off Amazon shopper. If I wanted to sell stuff on Amazon, I’d have asked to set up an Amazon shop. I didn’t. The fact that Amazon feels like it has a right to our products without our input feels so violating.

This needs to get into the fanart communities stat: it looks like Shopify is the connection to this Amazon "Buy For Me" debacle, which could really hurt a lot of folks who sell fan works on their personal site. Type your company name into Amazon search right away (and maybe update your sites, too)

The feeling of being 2 days late to schedule posting because of power outages and down phasing.
Y'know, it can't be helped. I know that things aren't ideal, but at least I can do my job and prepare everything for the new year. Hoping we have less outages, but will do what I can.

Stress less about high poly shading errors in gamedev. Chances are you won't see most of them anyway.
Always keep in mind the 6 levels of "Does It Matter?":
- Model
- Bake
- Texture
- Compression
- In-game effects
- Viewing distance

One of the projects I want to get back into is the jackalope. Maybe I can do that again next year?
Back to where I was when I crashed. I've saved the file this time around, and I'll refine the Jackalope after I've had breakfast and sorted work out.
