Remember way back when Obama had to use a nerfed BlackBerry because it was the only thing secure enough for presidential communications?
Apart from helping Comey's selective prosecution defense, this also means the president of the United States uses direct messages on Truth Social to communicate with cabinet officials.

I didn't know that, but we can be sure intelligence agencies all over the planet already did.

NEW: The recall effort against 18th Judicial District DA Amy Padden (D) has failed. The recall, led by conservative Aurora councilmember Danielle Jurinsky, needed 75,875 valid signatures and turned in zero signatures. #copolitics

1. Get convicted of mortgage fraud.
2. Fire someone for alleged mortgage fraud.
3. Push gerrymandering in Texas.
4. Threaten to sue California for same.

You don’t do take these actions if you plan on ever giving up power. Amazing people can’t see what is happening.
Correct. The default Dem position has to be, "I will fire everyone Trump appointed, and everyone hired by anyone Trump appointed, regardless of what any statute or court says."

Anything less is a ratification of Trump's actions that leaves the government broken and filled with saboteurs.
To make the stakes clear, potential Dem Presidential candidates should say that if SCOTUS allows this they will fire any Trump Fed appointees in 2028. Because that is the logical endpoint.

It isn't until the 26th paragraph that there is mention that what Trump is doing is being challenged as illegal. And it accepts Trump's stated rationale to act.

Here is what I think: Trump is illegally deploying the military in blue cities to set the stage to interfere with the 2026 elections.

This sort of admission—the VP is involved in prosecutorial decisions, the "concerns" arise from political actors, and the administration knows they don't have probable cause—would have prompted the Founders to impeach everyone involved.
JD Vance: "We're in the very early stages of an ongoing investigation into John Bolton ... if we think Ambassador Bolton committed a crime, of course eventually prosecutions will come ... there's a broad concern about Ambassador Bolton."

My data-less take on the economy: the grocery store is a lot more fucking expensive today than it was even two months ago. Fast food is almost prohibitively pricey. Feels as bad or worse than Biden’s inflationary situation. Yet it’s a nonstory.

This is complete fantasy. Just an absurd made up lie. The EU is not giving Trump “$600 billion to invest anyway I want.” They aren’t giving him 1 dollar to invest. It is just astonishing that a president can go on a financial network and lie like this & it barely registers. bsky.app/profile/atru...

I got photos/videos from Lakewood (below) and Castle Pines of the tornado yesterday - both 30-40+ miles away. Incredible.

I don't think it's fully appreciated just how much Trumpism is a celebration of ignorance. Trump not only never learns but proactively avoids it. It's a braindead movement from the top down.

Who will prosecute them?
The Signal chat itself broke numerous federal laws.

Now the Signal chat participants' denials and attempts to cover up what they did will break EVEN MORE laws.

Every time they open their mouths, they're incriminating themselves further.

Soon they'll start pleading the Fifth.
