The amazing thing about the last few days is that people are not saying openly enough what has happened. The Chinese stared the US down and the US blinked. It could represent the end of an era and former US allies in Asia-Pacific had better watch out.

Russia is a war machine he set in motion, but it has no brakes. Putin simply cannot stop the military economy and has no idea what to do with his army of thugs who are practically uncontrollable in civilian life.
Putin can live and stay in power only as long as the war continues. That’s it.
