Asked high schooler to talk to a teacher about a deadline he missed. He did, and was told he could "send an email," which he misunderstood as, "your Mom can send an email."

I already do this based on sales, but I think I’m going to be a little bit more intentional about it to build up the things we use the most.
Every grocery trip, please add a pantry item or 2 to your list. Your personal stores are an insulator to inflation, shortages, dependency. I'm more than happy to talk about normal, non-conspiracy theory prepping, ask away.
Every paycheck, squirrel at least a little cash away for the same reasons.
