Found my old Steadler 2mm lead holders today, and like 3 barely used packs of red leads from waaay back in my animation school days.
Really need to get back on the drawing horse (well, the metiphorical drawing horse at least, real ones are a pain in the back to sit at.)

I wish I liked my art better. Everything I draw feels like failure lately, and it's making me afraid of ever putting pencil to paper. That fear is strangling any ideas or excitement.
How do you get yourself to let go enough that you can just draw without hating yourself again?

Give me more sad yet cozy TTRPGs; or creepy yet chill ones. Less high adventure (though that's fun AF, but it's also eeeeverywhere) and more stuff like woodland critters guiding lost spirits to rest... or whatever.

I think my art is dead. I can't do anything good anymore. No drive. No ideas that are sparking a desire to get them on paper; And any that almost get there are squashed by my certainty that I'm too unskilled to do them justice. All I can make now are empty, ugly nothings with no meaning behind them.

Ok, I really need to not read stories about how horrible the animation and games job market is right now. 6 months deep into unemployment and no sign of prospects, and a new family tragedy coming up every month.

Building a 10mm scale skirmish board on a couple old filament spools. Trying a rough layout here; Not sure if I'm happy with it. Don't know if it's too crowded, too open, not vertical enough... plus, I need to place a few elevators down to the underground level.

Follow up: the bread is baked now... and it really sucks! Like, legitimately, the worst bread I've baked to date.
It didn't rise very well. The crust started to burn way too fast. The crumb remained mushy and gummy. Major fail!
