Today I learnt of a new source port under development for that other early id Software FPS: Hovertank 3D!
The developer, Havoc, has also acquired the rights to the game. He has a YouTube channel and maintains a blog on his website at havoc.de.

If you need to stay on Firefox there are forks that disable these features (and fingers crossed they can continue to) - my personal go to is Zen, hear good things about Waterfox

My heart breaks for his family. Poor guy had been battling Alzheimer's for 8 years.
Jim played many characters that were ubiquitous in my youth where he got to flex his range and talent, but Jack Krauser will probably always be my favorite.
Thank you for the fond memories over the years.

I always found the Cybertag VR setup that used Wolfenstein 3D fascinating. It was a multiplayer arcade setup with an early HMD.
