This should alarm everyone.

On Thursday, Florida, by unanimous vote, became the first state in the country to adopt “The Phoenix Declaration: An American Vision for Education.”
It was written by the Heritage Foundation, the same group behind Project 2025.

THIS IS INDOCTRINATION

Burns: The Old Testament says there’s nothing new under the sun. On July 4th, 1776, there was. Everybody up to that point had been under authoritarian rule. It was in the interests of their rulers that they be uneducated, that they be superstitious, that they be distracted by conspiracies…

I am glad ProPublica is reporting on possible corruption in this administration because it looks like we will see a lot of it by 2028.

We're seeing just the iceberg tip, now.

He had his legs and hands tied behind his back.

In Greenville, SC - buckle of the Bible Belt - two Dems won a city council race by large margins.
One candidate was new and running in a city-wide competition with a progressive message. She won nearly 60% of the vote!

This is fairly amazing!

Help me.... I'm trying here!
Politicians like Zohran Mamdani get out there and mingle with the people they want to vote for them. These politicians are more in touch with voters and their concerns.

Self-important, unstable Nancy Mace, on the other hand, uses cops to keep voters at a distance when she goes through an airport.

I keep thinking the world is progressing, and then.... this.
The world continues to ignore Sudan and every day, things get worse. So much suffering met with silence.
Staggering atrocities in Sudan.

Following the mass slaughter of nearly 500 men, women, and children at a maternity hospital, UN officials say: "The situation is simply horrifying... El Fasher, already the scene of catastrophic levels of human suffering, has descended into an even darker hell."

Again and again, cruelty is the point.
Weaponizing food access is a war tactic.

This is class war.
It's been class war.
Yes, it has other intersectionality.
But we outnumber them if we want to.
The USDA sent an email to grocery stores telling them they are prohibited from offering special discounts to customers affected by the SNAP funding lapse.
I'm aware of at least 2 stores that had offered struggling customers a discount, then withdrew it after receiving this email

The red state leaders just don't care. They might ask people to donate to food banks, but that is the best token gesture they're capable of producing.
Popok: The blue states and cities effectively brought the cases. The red states are suffering, and their AGs are sitting on the sidelines. There’s no red state that brought a case. Think about that: not one red state attorney general brought a case to help prevent starvation and suffering. None.

Pritzker: "Imagine it. Children who woke up that morning, expectant with joy & excitement to put on their costumes & celebrate with their neighbors in what they thought was a safe place at their homes. Armed, masked agents, terrorizing innocent people, especially children, is unconscionable."

"Cruelty is the policy. Intentional policy."
Newsom: The New Testament and Old Testament have one dominant thing in common—Matthew, Isaiah, Luke, Proverbs, go down the list—it’s about food, about serving those who are hungry. It’s not a suggestion; it’s core and essential to what it means to align with God’s will.

Report wrongdoing by ICE and you get deported immediately.

Their bad behavior is part of the plan
A mother of 8 was deported within 24 hours of reporting sexual harassment by an ICE contracto

She was following the rules & going through the process to get her green card

Someone working on behalf of ICE abused her.

She spoke out and was kicked out of the country.

It’s retaliation & it’s wrong

This is a U.S. citizen being brutally abducted by ICE while his mom pleads for them to stop and the videographer cries for help. The Chicago police do nothing to stop it.

They will come for everyone, and they’re not even hiding that anymore. If you are not organizing and resisting yet, get started.
