Today was a division get together. Although there was to be free food, there would be lots of people who I either don’t know or don’t like. Anyway, I stopped on the way home and picked up a gyro and am now slung up on the couch with Tilly.

I think part of our problem is that movies have a really difficult time depicting the greatest and most common hero (and villian): society itself.
In the century leading up to 1975, nearly 6000 freighters went down in the Great Lakes.
The Edmund Fitzgerald was the last.
The last. In 50 years, not a single commercial freighter has been lost in the Great Lakes.
