Fantastic news. Shame that Westminster decided not to bother with it. Well done to all campaigners.

Only 75%? It should be all of them. That said, it should be the engineer (Miller) as well as the oily rag (Noem). Can he even be impeached? It's not as if he was elected, unsure of whether he had to be confirmed. Probably not?

I wrote about my childhood friend Alexi Pretti. Please read it and share it and remember him as a human being. @theverge.com
I grew up with Alex Pretti
The kind-hearted ICU nurse shot by ICE agents was my childhood best friend.

Or they could do away with it completely like Scotland did with the feudal system over 20 years ago. Leasehold is just a scam for developers to milk even more money out of home buyers with 'snag' lists numbering in the hundreds.
BREAKING: Ground rents will be capped at £250 a year for around five million leasehold homes in England & Wales.

Housing Secretary Steve Reed tells #BBCBreakfast about change for people who own right to occupy a property via a lease for limited number of years from a freeholder

Bought two throws today to give us a fallback for the sofa (dogs dogs) and... they're not big enough.

Two more dog blankets then. 🙄

Good. We hate you. Everyone hates you. Even you hate yourselves.

So Reform now somewhat comprised of tories who've lost their seats or a leadership election then?

I think the word you're struggling to use here is "Ignore". Not question. Questioning is the job of a journalist. How about trying that?
Opinion: One of the reasons that Trump rose as a political figure in the first place — and few elites saw it coming — was that he was willing to question anything and everything about conventional politics, economics and foreign policy. ft.trib.al/MTeQrr0

In a surprise to absolutely no-one, the Trump-backed consortium are now censoring TikTok
I know it's hard to track all the threats to democracy out there right now, but this is at the top of the list.

Tinnitus (both tones) now screaming at me. Vertigo probably on the way so I think I'm gonna tap out of the socials for a few hours.

A reminder to the news media: “conflicting accounts” is what you say BEFORE the incontrovertible video evidence appears. After that, your job is to ask why one side is lying, not to repeat the lie and pretend no one knows the truth.

This is hilarious. I chuckled at the name plate and forgot about it. Tbh, I didn't think the trailer was that great and won't be seeing it BUT if you want to see the what is one of the most beautiful and well told animations I've seen in at least a decade (same director)...

WTF is this shit? I know about the stupid meme, but aligining yourself with the eejits who don't know there aren't any penguins in the arctic / are destroying their own country isn't really a good look.

Any tips for wall basket / trailing plants that are a) perennial and b) can withstand the amount of rain we get in Langholm would be greatly appreciated. I like the trailing begonias, but they're seasonal. Would prefer something I don't have to dig out every autumn. I have ivy, but want colours!

I'm dubious about the trending topics on here lately. With all that's going on, "Noir Films" is at no.1. Seriously?

These just came up in my memories. 🥰

Miah playing with her bebbeh, Nova, who would've been about 14 weeks old here. Given the dreadful emergency surgery Miah had to endure, she snapped back really well. ❤️ The snood is to protect her neck from puppy teeth.

Also. Snow! in Hampshire. 🙄

The weather forecast for next week has changed from snow every day to ... rain every day. Business as usual for Langholm then. 🙄
