I really do think, at the end of the day, all this whole thing will expose is that a large amount of Americans are perfectly okay with pedophilia as long as their guy is the one doing it.

All the events that allowed Trump to be president (twice!) have really unveiled the level to which the public is conditioned by the narrative tropes the media uses how to think about controversy.
