the goal is _maintainable_ code, not just pure volume of code. if you deprive yourself of learning and just outsource it to the machine, you are robbing yourself.

Same thing for coding: I will review the code, format it, change the name of variables a few times before I'm happy with. An AI can get me faster to some code, but that code would be without comprehensive intent. A code without intent is a code that cannot be reasoned about.

whoa. I received a ton of blocks for writing a couple replies that said very calmly and concisely: "let's champion progressivism rather than nihilism".
