DHS getting basic 4th Amendment law wrong on its official Twitter account.

Seems like this post is bound to show up as an exhibit in one of the cases challenging ICE/Border Control enforcement actions.

Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

Even though I loved, and still love, Gruff Rhys's Hotel Shampoo 🎶 I somehow missed buying American Interior

But just got a 10-year reissue and the design and packaging are gorgeous

I left university in 2019 with £49,600 of debt. A few months later, I became an MP and have since received a salary that puts me in the top 5% in the country. 6 years on, the repayments from my salary have brought this total to down to £48,600 - just £1,000 less.

This photo was taken in 1911 using glass plate technology by Herbert Ponting who was part of Scott's Antarctic expedition,

The composition and detail are exquisite with the band of white snow/ice creating a perfect frame around the two people and the ship in the distance

Iconic imo

This is why "Abolish ICE" is going to be a completely normie position by this summer.
This video shows ICE holding children hostage to bait parents out of their homes.

Just unspeakable levels of cruelty and inhumanity.

Today, we celebrate the 25th anniversary of @wikipedia.org, which for a quarter of a century has been collaboratively built by unpaid strangers on the internet.
Wikipedia’s 25th birthday proves the power of free speech
If the global encyclopedia is going to thrive for the next 25 years, we must maintain and expand First Amendment protections

“The father, Shawn Jackson, told a FOX 9 reporter at the scene his children were hurt when a flash bang detonated nearby. He says the blasts were strong enough to set off his vehicle's air bags. … His wife, Destiny Jackson, [said] their 6-month-old infant stopped breathing and lost consciousness.”
North Minneapolis ICE shooting: Children hospitalized after flash bang, tear gas hits van
A family was caught in clashes between protesters and law enforcement during protests in north Minneapolis, leading to three of their six children, including a 6-month-old baby, being hospitalized.

Not a national security reporter. Not a Pentagon reporter. Not covering, say, a crime that the Govt wants to investigate. Just someone who talked to Fed employees and kept them anonymous.
".. The reporter, Hannah Natanson, has spent the past year covering the Trump administration’s effort to fire federal workers and redirect much of the work force to enforcing his agenda."

I would love to see journalists doing stories on the fact that ICE is frequently using vehicles as weapons a week after using that as a justification to murder someone. This is not a new tactic for ICE/CBP, but we are seeing it now with alarming regularity. Someone is going to get killed this way.
ICE rammed into a car at 34th and Park And then began to question the immigration status of U.S. Citizen Latino’s they crashed into.

They also deployed chemical irritants into the eyes of the press. Abolish ICE now.
