I wanted to get a video of this ghost crab but every time I got close to their hole they scuttled back in, so I tried getting clever with it. I made a little sandcastle and shoved my phone into it, hit record, and walked away. Crab was VERY suspicious of this addition to their environment.

There have always been dysfunctional families and marriages, but in the past, it wasn't socially acceptable to separate.

People stayed together, were miserable, and argued a lot.

That's why there are so many transgenerational traumas.

Happy 99th birthday to the man who gave voice to the wild. 🎉

Sir David Attenborough, thank you for a lifetime dedicated to the natural world, and for sharing its story with wisdom, wonder, and grace.

Children of narcissistic parents may benefit from therapy to address self-esteem issues, emotional regulation, and boundary-setting. Family therapy can also help in alienation cases, though it’s challenging if the narcissistic parent refuses to participate.

Eliminating red dye in processed foods is not going to do much to improve the health of children.

Why? Food deserts. Poverty. Homelessness. Lack of healthcare. Widespread COVID

A healthy diet is a privilege not afforded to everyone. Tackle inequality first if you want to create a healthy society.

This is one of the best videos I've seen that perfectly describes what it's like to be a targeted, alienated parent.
Because of its counterintuitive nature, many false assumptions are made by professionals who are involved in cases of parental alienation.

The emotional distress caused by alienation can impair a child’s focus and performance in school.

Socially, they might withdraw from peers or struggle with conflict resolution, mirroring the dysfunctional dynamics they’ve experienced at home.

OTD 2 years ago in OK, I chased the most incredible storm of my life. I documented 8 tornadoes, including two sets of twins and the widest tornado I've seen (1.3 miles). The structure and lightning was unlike anything I had seen. It was a true behemoth of the plains. Real time clip:
