I do not disagree with Chanda's overall point, but ironically, the Sold a Story thing argued that W supporting traditional phonics education helped push lots of teachers to the Reading Recovery approach which is why kids can't read now.
Hundreds of thousands of dead people in Afghanistan and Iraq, Gen Z is struggling with reading comprehension, and we live in a surveillance state started by Bush, who also created ICE, but hey at least he’s not Donald Trump
Not a fan of Bush but he was a step up from what we got now.
