Brave effort by Jayapal. But it again reveals the lunacy of the rules that govern Congressional hearings (and have done under successive administrations). Pastiche of a democracy, this one.
Jayapal asks Epstein survivors in hearing room to stand and raise hands if they still haven't been able to meet with Bondi's DOJ. Every single one of them doe. Jayapal then gives Bondi an opportunity to apologize. She responds by trying to attack Jayapal and Merrick Garland but doesn't apologize.

Before I got there, he accused a lawyer of ‘smearing the dead’. Paul Dacre is, of course, the editor who described the Miliband brothers’ late, war hero father as the ‘man who hated Britain’ then doubled down when Ed made a heartfelt plea for compassion.
I was in the High Court today to watch Paul Dacre get cross-examined. Will report back on tomorrow’s show.
