Last night 8 senators betrayed the American people because, I don't know, they wanted easier flights home for Thanksgiving. The "promises" they got from Republicans in exchange for their votes surely don't count for anything.

There has been a rush among centrists like Gavin Newsom and Ezra Klein to brush over the hateful life of Charlie Kirk and valorize the man.

Let me be clear, killing Charlie Kirk was wrong and abhorrent.

We must condemn murder without sanitizing a man who built his empire on hate.

My latest piece.
We Must Not Posthumously Sanitize Charlie Kirk's Hateful Life
Influential anti-LGBTQ+ activist Charlie Kirk was assassinated on Wednesday. While condemning violence is something most can get behind, sanitization of his hate has gone too far.

What you stand for shows who you are; anyone who supports restoring confederate statues shows themselves to be a racist, a traitor, and a loser.

CEO pay is up 1,085% since 1978, while typical worker pay is up just 24%.

Why do we always hear "we can't afford to pay our workers more" but never "we can't afford to pay our CEO more"?

I was away, but very proud of my small town this weekend. That's about 15% of our total population.

The John Roberts court will be written of in history books as the most shameful period in the Supreme Court, probably forever.

Closing the Department of Education will created more stupid people. Stupid people tend to vote Republican. That's it, that's the whole plan.

Trump tariffs on lumber are causing home insurance rates to rise because the cost of repairs is predicted to increase. If you are not extremely wealthy he is hurting you and he is not going to stop.

Nobody is "biased" against Trump. He has: bragged about assaulting women; bragged about not paying contractors what they are owed; been convicted of multiple felonies; specifically threatened to weaponize the DOJ against his enemies; and much more. A negative view of him is reasonable, not biased.

Not remotely similar. Are Biden's preemptive pardons unprecedented? Sure, but so is the election of a President who has bluntly stated he's going to direct the justice department to seek revenge. Meanwhile, Trump pardons violent felons on film assaulting police.
