The biggest thing ultimately for me is the Star Wars company wanted to make a Star War and the Star Wars actors wanted to make a Star War and some fucking suit who is guilty of sucking all the creative juice from his company said no so now the Star Wars company cant make Star Wars

I have no problem with fanfic becoming published books. In my opinion, that’s what fanfic has always been. To hone your writing skills, to be a creative outlet, to create and transform.

Okay, I have something else to say about #RomanceCon actually. If the authors, who have all dropped out, and the fans, who are now demanding refunds, had put half as much of that energy toward HBO, WB, or Universal, you could’ve made actual impact where it matters most - R*wling’s pocket.

I have only just found out about the RomanceCon drama and I don’t have much to say on it other than that I think a lot of people are forgetting what “transformative works” means.
