So my country has been a complete mess recently and my family too. I have been feeling overwhelmed and now I am rethinking my long-term goal to start graduate training in the US for obvious reasons.
Some good news have come to me recently tho (got a job and some collaboration opportunities, yey).

So my country has been a complete mess recently and my family too. I have been feeling overwhelmed and now I am rethinking my long-term goal to start graduate training in the US for obvious reasons.

I had some of the most horrible couple of weeks, emotionally and physically, which was a call of attention to how important it is to connect with friends and family while pursuing my career goals :,)

Last year I taught a graduate seminar, "Computational neuroscience in practice", which invited experimental neuroscientists to think computationally about their data. Reflecting on it, the class helped me better appreciate the inherent challenges of this enterprise.
