I do not like living in interesting times.
Absolutely gorgeous sand boas.
I can ship (have been doing so for years) and I’ve gotten the first litter of (TWENTY TWO OF THEM) eating reliably now.

My political temperament has been pacifistic all my life. Never again.

I never want to hear a Democrat so much as whisper the word "bipartisanship."

After the last quarter century, any candidate who doesn't have a wrathful thirst for justice that will never be quenched doesn't have my vote.

My cat Jem is Exhibit A for the former. He's indoor/outdoor (because I was an idiot when I first got him, and he's too stubborn to give up his freedom). He's 16, and aside from surviving through sheer spite, one of his greatest joys in life is murdering rodents and leaving them for me to find.

Multi-paragraph bullet points? God, imagine the PowerPoints Alito would put together.
Justice Alito has issued his dissent from last night's shock order preventing AEA Proclamation removals from the Northern District of Texas.

It's, uh, a bullet point list.

Even with relatively simple analyses (recent example: "Here's a list of businesses and their websites, please give me a one sentence summary of what types of goods or services they sell"), ChatGPT has a very high error rate. Relying on it for an extremely complex situation like this is nuts.
If you're competent at verifying the grant programs in the list are correct and that none of the relevant ones have been left out

Just fucking write the list.

If you're not competent at verifying this, the list is worse than useless

I wonder what the oldest movie is with two or more main cast members still living. I'm thinking it is probably Mary Poppins, as Julie Andrews and Dick van Dyke are still alive, sixty years later.

Oppenheimer was the most emotionally affecting movies I've seen in many years. I was shell-shocked. But after some contemplation, I think it's a stunning film. If you have the opportunity to see it, do so. And if a 70mm showing is an option, you have to take advantage.
