Been playing Archipelago Randomizer with friends a lot lately.
The QoL fixes the romhack makes to Castlevania Circle of the Moon are soooo good. No double-tap dashing, DSS cards are no longer random drops, etc.
This is the definitive way to play this game lol

When everyone got so excited to put Amazon's Alexa in their houses a few years back I was like, "That seems sus and also I already have a PC to play music from and search things on."

Speaking as someone who's worked with Capcom, stays in touch with its people, and has, shall we say, professional room to maneuver, I'll just say that contrary to what the technical director in the IGN article asserts, I know for a *fact* many Capcom employees are VEHEMENTLY against this direction.

I personally believe if we want to try and dress up using AI gen to "speed up production" as if that is the real concern, we should instead be more okay with reusing already existing assets made by actual humans, rather than generating from a pool of stolen assets at a massive energy cost

Tried my hand at recreating #Volnut from Mega Man Legends in the original style, using models resource to get an idea of the polygon structure and concept art for the actual shape, its resulted in some noticeable differences in proportions but I'm pretty happy with it

This is pretty much true of all superheroes. SO many comics are made throughout the decades that *somebody* has almost certainly decided your favorite character will have some dumb lore you don't want that actively makes them less cool.
