Mum was deported & left girls in Cairo..If I can’t find a way to protect them.. they will end up on the street & will be trafficked.

Wonderful point by @lauralundy.bsky.social re children also raising us … reminded me when Lilly was 5 and point blank refused to do the “which is the odd one out” exercise in a workbook.. but also it’s ok to learn from them while remembering they have the right to learn to be tolerant, empathic etc
🚸 We are hosting an event on how to navigate having difficult conversations around things like climate collapse, racism, and ablism with kids in a way that’s on their level, but is also honest.
