Long time no fake polaroid drawing. My character Vincent (in catboy costume) and Lohis's character Clip (in Frankenstein's monster costume). Wanted to put Vin into a catboy fit and Halloween was a great excuse. And it's almost Halloween irl too. #artsky #traditional #brushpen

Finished Olivie Blake's Atlas Six yesterday, and I was honestly really disappointed. I picked it up originally from a free book exchange, because the back cover sounded like I'd really enjoy it. Turns out 90% of it was characters talking/thinking about abstract concepts that didn't feel fleshed out.

Experienced Russian new year celebrations for the first time ever with my SO and his family. Had a wonderful time, we skipped the traditional president's speech because nobody at the party likes him, and ate far too much delicious food. I'm so grateful my SO shares his culture with me.

tbh it is pretty wild that companies will simultaneously moan about "losing money" to piracy while also actively refusing to sell things to people that they already have totally available and could put up for digital sale at any time. like sorry you are choosing to be bad at business. sounds rough

Halfway through #ACOTAR now and the MC still hasn't stopped making painfully obviously stupid decisions and then blaming them on everyone and everything but herself. Bless everyone who loves this book, you're so much stronger than I am.

Audiobooking ACOTAR because so many people I know seem to love it. I'm really trying to like it, but ten chapters deep the main character keeps making irrationally stupid decisions, while the book tries to tell me she's smart, and it's grating. I hope it gets better.
