Some examples of my work:

Looking like sort of a cross between a chicken and a peacock. Image in the bottom left is the phoenix in a walking/standing position, tail splayed out behind it like a peacock's. Image in the top right is the phoenix in flight. Bottom middle contains images of 3 different types of feathers from this phoenix. Unfortunately there is too much text in the image to put here. But there are 3 sections of text. Top left is the main title: "Common Phoenix - Fire Elemental". These phoenix are the manifestation of wood burning fire that burns at temps between 1110℉ - 2550℉. They only burst into flame when they die. As adults their internal temps start at 135℉, which rises through their life. Middle section: "Life & Death". Phoenix can either manifest spontaneously, or hatch from an egg. Middle right title: "Feathers & Farming". Phoenix feathers are highly prized and the phoenix is farmed mainly for these feathers.

Well it seems it is going to be to late for @lastweektonight.com to help with their hiatus. Any suggestions for a big sci com/science interested news account I should play with to help save PRI?

Tag them in the comments with your pitch for why they should help out this museum maybe

One of the 10 largest fossil collections in the USA, with 7 million specimens. 1.2 million users of their online content annually, 30,000 in person visitors 1,500 teachers use PRI for continuing education each year link to donate: https://www.priweb.org/donate infographic explaining that PRI needs to raise 1 million dollars by December 31st to pay off their mortgage, be free of that debt and continue future operations. They have already raised 2.1 million of the 3.1 million needed to pay this unexpected expense due to a major donor being unable to fulfill a long-term pledge

The Purple-throated Carib females’ bills are longer and more curved than males. This sexual dimorphism has produced a coevolutionary relationship with bihai and caribbaea species of Heliconia plant, with each flower evolving color morphs that best attract their primary pollinator.

The most obnoxious comment about AI I see on here is someone trying to argue every new invention was once hated and pushed back on until it was adopted by society. Humans haven’t been around that long - the age of industrialization is 0.0001 of a blink of an eye in the history of our existence.

"Regret" presents Beatrice, a character from the animated series Over the Garden Wall. Beatrice was cursed after throwing a rock at a bluebird: all her 12 relatives, as well as her, were transformed into bluebirds. The illustration shows us her transformation, looking in shock and crying as her right arm transforms into a bird's wing. She stands in front of a dark forest, the deep orange of autumn slowly being consumed by cyan and blue. Flying around her and into the forest we spot 12 bluebirds.
