Whale shark and yellowfin mugs. You may remember I did this design before. I never posted the finished ones cause the spots fired off the sharks; I didn’t use enough underglaze. This time I carved them so it won’t happen again 😂

Ethical conundrum; there’s a ceramicist I’ve seen around whose work is gorgeous. It’s certainly time consuming, and they have a lot of talent. But all of their art is traced directly from manga and anime, and they charge hundreds, into the thousands. Idk how to feel about that
