My son's gf has been staying with us the last several days & it's such a delight. I've been the sole hag in this mojo dojo casa house for 22 years & I rarely regret not having more kids (my sons are very extra.) But maybe I gave up too soon, girls really do elevate the vibe. Girlmoms why so lucky? 🥺

I just had my first late night doula call for farts I’m so happy. I’m sorry, farts turn evil when you’re pregnant, but I just love that a birthing person has someone to call in the night when their farts turn scary & they want to talk it through with someone calm who isn’t dying in poison air 🎀💨

All my life I've been very on time, a punctual polly. I would panic if I was a little bit late, if other people were late, if lateness occurred at any point in my day. After a few years of immersion therapy in my own self-created chaos I'm happy to say that I won't ever be leaving my house again.

Been seeing a lot of farmers & ranchers on social media saying they have nowhere to sell their goods anymore because of the tariffs. Can they donate that food to food banks? It seems like an opportunity to show some reciprocity to the taxpayer.

That feeling when you've been trying to match schedules to meet with someone for 6 months & you finally find a date that works for both of you but it's still four months away. So good. So far away. So much time to change our minds, to become whole new people, people with energy for meetings.

Why am I crying rn? my son drives down the road & does a little honk to say toodle-oo to the cat who waits on the deck watching for him to go by. It’s absurd but so fucking wholesome that he created space for a little happy moment to reset his mind on his way to wherever. And the cat participates 😭
