I’m an old broad, living in rural NS. Also a political junkie, avid thrifter and skin care diva. Living with CFS/ME for 36 years has taught me a thing or two about life, health and priorities.
This is a horrific and very much first person reality of the lives of the Palestinian people.

By now, we've all seen the video of Senator Alex Padilla (D-CA) being forcibly removed and handcuffed for asking a question during Kristi Noem's press conference.

But what Noem said just moments before the video was taken is "classic authoritarian red-baiting," points out @davidcorn.bsky.social.

On 6/12, DHS Sec’y Kristi Noem said “We are staying here to liberate [LA] from the socialists and the burdensome leadership this governor and mayor have placed on this country and this city.” This use of military force to displace a democratically elected is the very definition of a coup.

Shocking news, again.
Evasion of peer review is a hallmark of pseudoscience.

But even more insidious is the obviation of scientific scrutiny by publishing in pseudoscientific journals that exist to provide an illusion of scientific legitimacy.

There’s nothing new about MAHA’s propaganda tactics.

A no-brainer for us in Canada.
Medicare for All means Medicare for ALL — not some, or a few, or most.

Health care is a human right.

Every other major country recognizes that.

It's long past time the United States does as well.

There is only one conclusion I can draw from the fact that the military has not yet stepped in and destroyed this regime:

The American military is now led entirely by cowards and sycophants.

What a pathetic excuse for a country we have become. This will be our shame for generations.
