Weekends are for footy ⚽ - mostly A Leagues (Victory), WSL (Chelsea), NWSL, Matildas, and whatever's easy to access.

Can we please beat this Jets team next week?

I've got the Jets v Nix game on my side screen. Could they have maybe done more to stop this kit clash?

Unsure if it has been confirmed elsewhere already, but COO of the Local Organising Committee for the Women's Asian Cup Sarah Walsh on ABC Summer Grandstand just said that the tournament will have 26-player squads, up from the usual 23-player squads #woso

Very good stuff in this ep about who A League clubs are trying to appeal to (Victory in particular). I too would love to know.

These Epstein files really show how pathetic so many people in those emails are. All the money and influence in the world and they’re in those emails begging and sucking up to some dude for the chance to rape young girls. The world is ran by the biggest fucking losers.

we couldn't publish the full AFC response due to word count, but their explanation here speaks to a much wider problematic view in sport that women don't deserve greater investment until they've "proven" they can make commercial returns. as if that's how investment in any emerging product works.

The Women's Champions Cup games are available on Kayo for Aus. Also on DAZN for free I believe.

Racism is so entrenched in Australia that when someone throws a bomb into a peaceful protest, of 2000 First Nations Peoples and their allies, that we call it unacceptable instead of what it actually is, terrorism.

Prior to Saturday's Men's Sydney Derby, Sydney FC are running a meet and greet at a nearby bar. The problem? It's a double header Sydney Derby, and the #ALW game kicks-off at the exact same time this meet and greet starts. I'm tired of this, so I'm just going to let you draw your own conclusions.
