Been home alone today, so it feels like a Monday. I feel as if part of the weekend has been stolen from me. I am also still annoyed that an actor in Emily in Paris who is playing a Brit called the pavement a sidewalk. His accent was kind of Estuary/city boy.

Mr is eating some really spicy noodles. They have given him hiccups. I'm not sure it is a pleasurable experience.

Not stopped raining all day. I just looked out, the water is now about a centimetre from touching the underside of the pontoons.

There was a noise outside that sounded a bit like a banjo. I am really hoping it was just a plop of rain falling onto something. I Do not like the sound of banjos.

Another rainy day. I guess after such a dry year last year we need it, but I am rather sick of it now. Especially as I do not have a long rain coat. I have a short one and waterproof trousers, but getting that lot on just for a few minutes out with the dog is a pain.

The weather today is vile. Wet and windy. The dark sky matches my mood. Pinterest is driving me mad with the amount of badly written blogs it is sending me to for a recipe. It is like someone is churning them out by machine.

The wagtails are back, not seen them or heard them for months. Also I see the teeniest slither of blue sky between the clouds. Hopefully we will get a little sunshine today.

Yay MC professionals is back. Think it is now my favourite. The 'normies' are now just too good and the celebs rarely seem to give a shit, they are just there to collect their pay cheque.

I really hate the met offices new look. I keep switching it back to the old style but it does not remember. Why do websites keep changing something that worked just fine as it was.

I'd love to do that puffin counting job. Mind you, I do not know how noisy they are. One marina we stayed at had resident crows. Dawn and dusk they would caw caw caw.
