Jess says she is ready to give their feathers a ruffle.

This is just 3 runs over with the brush. She is not a fan of it so little and often.

Light here this evening is weird. Sky is dark, but the trees are catching the sun.

It is #InternationalDogDay so here is a picture of Jess. It was taken a few years ago on Blackstone Edge. It is one of my favourite pictures of her as she looks so relaxed.

It looks like my dog.... a tiny bit. She has that intense glare and likes to bare her teeth sometimes.

Not cute, but this is her watching her dad 'dance'. She looked a bit alarmed.

Does being a mum to this beast count me as a mum?

Mine can at times. Depends on the angle.

We finally got around to going to the White Horse at Churton. We shared a flatbread with goats curd, radishes and peas. I had the roast beef with swede and carrot mash, roast potatoes, greens and enormous Yorkshire pudding plus red wine gravy. It was very very good .

As you can imagine I have a lot of pictures of bridges.

It is getting windier I think. My pots are gently tinkling against one another. Jess is seemingly unbothered. Which is good as she is mostly worried by anything unusual.

Not posted for a bit, but we loved this mural. Lots of detail in it. The aquaduct, tiny boat under it, workers with laden backpacks, the Welsh dragon.

Mr squirell is swishing the good vibes your way using his floofy tail.
