See I believe your mentions on X are full of that crap but your Bsky mentions are overwhemlingly positive and you've picked the one weirdo saying this who is being ratio'd himself so why would you lie about that?

turns out they are good
Yeah I'll start re-assessing this team once we see them play when they aren't living out of suitcases
Here is the 3P shooting for #Rockets' players over the last five games.

Sengun: 20%

Felt like the Rockets stumbled into a lineup after Steven Adams went down last night that could really work for them - Amen/Okogie/Jabari/Finney-Smith/Durant.

Switched everything and were incredibly active in passing lanes.

DFS and Bari need to be hitting shots for it to work though.

I've largely discounted Houston making upgrade moves as all their assets were too good for a medium tier addition - BKN '27, PHX '27, PHX '29, DAL '29. All had top 5 potential.

With Phoenix looking good this year, do they use their 2027 pick with a DFS/Clint for a smaller move? Coby White etc?

It's been years of right wing bullshit about not needing to bother with carbon reduction on the west because 'China and India don't care' despite it being very obvious both, China especially, have invested MASSIVE amounts in green tech. China is lapping the rest of the world in the green revolution
This is huge: For the first time since the early 1970s, coal power generation has fallen in both China & India.

It undercuts claims that decarbonisation is pointless while they expand coal. Renewables are no longer just adding capacity — they’re displacing coal.

Sick of ppl acting like anyone pointing out nobody does anything anymore is out of touch. Yes times are tough but most can afford to go to the cinema, shop in person, support that game studio or bookshop. But everyone is indoors and then complain online why businesses they theoretically like die.
essentially repeating @jamesdaustin.bsky.social's point that people say they want a nice high street and yet aren't using their high street, in order to add: people need to also actively choose to spend more in brick and mortar shops than they would online, even if it feels unfair!

It's been a good month to have been not able to watch any Rockets basketball.

Unfortunately I've been fucking up my sleep pattern to watch England in the Ashes instead.

It's amazing he gets to just walk around saying the hallucination machine has 'genius level intelligence at everything' and nobody ever questions him to his face about this statement.

every time Argentineans post their little crybully rants about the Falklands it's a reminder of the mentality that resulted in their incompetent fascist junta getting hundreds of their own conscript soldiers killed in an unprovoked invasion.

As usual the only chance of things changing for the better is if players use their power to change it but they want the money just as much as the owners sadly

Interestingly dunks and threes has the schedule adjusted net ratings for Houston as 2nd in offense 3rd in defense.

Susprising to me as I considered it to have been a fairly easy schedule to start but tankathon also has us with the 3rd easiest the rest of the way
#Rockets since 0-2 start:

9-1 record
1st in offensive rating, 8th in defensive rating

Kevin Durant
25.1 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 3.7 apg, 50.6 FG%, 39.6 3PT%

Alperen Sengun
22.0 ppg, 10.6 rpg, 7.5 apg, 50.0 FG%, 42.9 3PT%

Orlando had real success doing this last night on Sengun. Single coverage, Wendell Carter had him in jail. Kudos to Alpi for pushing through and taking advantage once he got in foul trouble (and working the boards) but this is the blueprint.

Thankfully we have KD lol.
Sengun isn't getting to the rim and he's shooting 48.2% from 2. If I were playing Houston I'd just guard him straight up, no doubles. He still hasn't proved he can reliably score against the big, stout interior defenders who don't foul.

Somebody who doesn't follow me replied to this saying 'nope - not won anything' and then claimed "Jaylen" Green has had more to do with the Suns' success than Brooks this year.

Has NBA Bluesky finally arrived?
Dillon Brooks was a huge part of monumental rebuilds in Memphis and Houston and now he seems to be helping Phoenix fix a toxic culture.

Outside of the obvious stars, is Dillon Brooks one of the most valuable players in the NBA?

6-3: My boys, my beautiful boys!

Rivers had Milwaukee spam the same play with a shooter curling off Giannis at the FT line about 15 times in a row and Houston figured it out and the Bucks had nothing after that

Alperen Sengun, Always

AJ Green just attempted a backdoor cut so hard which would have given him an open dunk and Okogie completely denied him. Considering he's a 49% shooter you need to stick to and overplay - incredible defensive work
