Today we’ve published our analysis of NHS Continuing Healthcare. An often overlooked but vital source of support for people with complex health & care needs. It’s a story of variation, falling eligibility and harrowing experiences as people struggle to navigate this opaque & adversarial system
NEW REPORT: We reveal how NHS continuing health care (CHC) is failing to reach some of the most unwell patients in England in their time of need, while reinforcing deep regional inequalities.

The research is part-funded by @nuffieldfoundation.org

Some thoughts from my colleague @ninahemmings.bsky.social on what the immigration white paper means for social care. Vacancies are still high & the plan for boosting the domestic pipeline is a long way off so stopping overseas recruitment now risks leaving a void in the short term.
