Packed room at #rapidevaluation conference for opening plenary. Lots of potential for tech enabled change in the #NHS, but lots required to make it happen: interoperability, better procurement, cultural change etc. Will 10y.p help?!

It is very easy and very tempting to assume that management is merely a (useless) cost to be saved not something that adds value to the rest of the system. That's not what the evidence says and it is possible to have too little management.

In 2024, just 1 in 5 British adults (21%) were satisfied with the way in which the NHS runs – the lowest level of satisfaction since the #BritishSocialAttitudes survey began. It’s a decline of 39 percentage points since 2019. @thekingsfund.bsky.social
