What really scares me lately is how many people don't seem to care when I tell them that LLMS are not artificially intelligent, do not understand language, and are not capable of reasoning. They think "but I find it helpful!" is somehow a rebuttal to those concerns. I guess they choose dementia.

I'm interested, and always happy to collaborate with other alchemists. I just haven't had the opportunity very many times.

Wow, I'm so shocked that when you let a computer think for you, you get worse at thinking. #ButlerianJihad
The only surprise is they admit it

Collectivism is the reason why we have advanced technology, along with things like roads and fire departments. If the very word triggers you, you are probably an idiot. Primates are social creatures. Best to get over it now.
Context: Barron sits on Trump’s religious liberty commission, and has growing caché w/influential conservative figures.

Barron also attended Charlie Kirk’s memorial. He lauded Erika Kirk forgiving her husband’s killer, but did not tweet about Trump declaring at that event “I hate my opponent(s).”

No, but seriously...

Why does conjugating a Spanish verb end up sounding like a list of Final Fantasy spells?

Wrong answers only.

This holiday season, beware of that most devious of great old ones, Mariah Carey. Should you hear her voice on the radio, it may well drive you mad.

Update: without giving any specific spoilers, the latest episode of Peacemaker confirms a fan theory that shows this show is also going very hard against fascism in its own way. I'm getting similar vibes to HBO's watchmen, the way they blindside the viewer with it.

Loving how South Park is going up against Netanyahu as well as Trump. But unexpectedly, Gen V is going even harder against fascism this season. Season 2 is less of a spin-off than a continuation of the most recent season of The Boys, and it is glorious so far. Is Hollywood fighting back? I think so.

If corporations are people, does that mean Johnson & Johnson can sue the the president and RFK Jr for slander? If so, I think they should do so immediately. Facts matter, and this is very likely to affect their profits. (Still not a capitalist, but I support using the tools that exist.)

Neoliberals have always been cowardly, collaborator trash, agreed. As Dr. King once put it, they prefer "a negative peace that is the absence of tension, rather than a positive peace that is the presence of justice". Shameful and ultimately unforgivable.

17 Democrats are cowardly collaborator trash on this bill. Hold them accountable.
1. Yesterday, the NDAA, a must-pass military bill, cleared the House with several anti-trans amendments from Nancy Mace.

A bathroom ban, sports ban, tricare coverage ban, pride flag ban, and more for trans people were attached.

17 Democrats joined to pass it.
