🦟 World’s biggest mosquito factory

In Brazil, a new facility will produce 100 million Wolbachia-infected mosquitoes weekly. These harmless insects cut dengue spread by passing the bacterium to wild populations, reducing cases by 69% in trials.

This is the world’s largest ‘mosquito factory’: its goal is to stop dengue
Raising millions upon millions of disease-fighting mosquitoes per week is no easy task, Nature learnt during its visit to the facility.

I just saw an article saying that there might be danger of lightning strikes in DC on the 14th. Perhaps we can give Trump the king vestiges, including a metal scepter, that he craves.

Listening to the Shrinking Trump podcast. I loved Harry Segal's saying that New York drivers are so bad (not my words) that they don't signal lane changes, they just do it and if someone honks, they switch back, and that is what Trump does with his tariffs.

I loved, loved, loved, most of the Super Bowl commercials. They were fun, so on point, such powerful messages, and such a direct jab at all the haters out there.

They saved the pediatric cancer research funding, thank the gods, via a standalone bill.
Huge huge news— Tim Kaine just passed one of the big pediatric cancer research bills, Jennifer Wexton’s Gabriella Miller Kids First Research Act 2.0, by unanimous consent!

It already passed in the House so it will become law with the President’s signature! This is so great!!!
