Not trying to “both sides” this, but Republicans would not be getting away with destroying the country if Democrats had any semblance of a spine.

I think he’s fully aware that Starship Troopers is meant to be satirical, he just thinks fascism is a good thing.
Rightwing influencers are so bad at interpreting source material that they can only do it correctly by accident, when they're trying to make a joke

From “don’t tread on me” to “how dare you not let the government tread on you”
Rep. Randy Fine: "It's time for Americans to say 'enough,' and if you get in the way of the government repelling a foreign invasion, you're gonna end up just like that lady did yesterday."

Don’t tell Noah Schnapp? This can only mean one thing: Eleven is going to Free Palestine 🇵🇸
The Duffer Brothers say Millie Bobby Brown is the only other person who knows Eleven's true fate after the 'Stranger Things' finale

They've also told her not to say anything to Noah Schnapp

Dino Crisis remake 🙏
There is an undeniable shared understanding in humanity. When people see "I hope this year it will happen" there is not a slightest doubt what "it" means.

I feel like people are fixating on this guy’s (obviously wrong) take on the 1960 election and ignoring his attributing right-wing manosphere “alpha male” bullshit to the “great feminization”.

This genuinely one of my favorite movies and I don’t care that apparently everyone else on the planet hates it.

Trump supporters are genuinely the stupidest people on the planet. Which would be hilarious if they weren’t causing so much damage to the country and by extension the world.

I know that everyone has different tastes and some people just don’t like the taste of turkey, but I feel like a decent portion of people who say that turkey doesn’t taste good just haven’t had a properly cooked turkey.
In a great moment for mankind, after years of effort, I have convinced my American family to abandon the turkey and opt for a bird that actually tastes good for Thanksgiving this year

Not only is it terrible, it’s the kind of terrible only someone who thinks they’re actually an amazing writer can write. If I didn’t know better I’d assume it was parody.
Vanity Fair's West Coast Editor Olivia Nuzzi was a star political correspondent until scandal led her into exile—and to a California up in flames.

In an excerpt from her book, ‘American Canto,’ she takes stock of scorched earth.

She flamed out and she faded away. 'Vanity Fair'’s West Coast Editor returns to the written word to survey scorched earth.

I love how conservatives sneer at the idea of government subsidized childcare while handwringing over low birth rates. Do you want people to have kids or not? Make up your minds!
You guys realize that taxing people to pay for services isn't socialism, right? This is just how governments work.

There’s no way it’s going to be only $400. Valve would likely be selling it at a significant financial loss and there’s no reason for them to do that. Consoles often sell at a loss to get people to buy into their ecosystem, but Steam is already the biggest storefront on PC.

Happy “Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald” day to all who celebrate

Twenty-nine sailors drowned when the Edmund Fitzgerald went down in the Great Lakes' icy waters on Nov. 10, 1975. The ship was immortalized in a surprise hit 1976 folk ballad by Gordon Lightfoot.

“Do not let these election results give you hope for the future”
Mike Johnson: "What happened last night is blue states and blue cities voted blue. We all saw that coming. And no one should read too much into last night's election results."

The conclusion I reached after reading this article is that Republican men are exactly who you think they are. There’s not some hidden complexity we’re missing. They’re just stupid assholes.

Rodrigo Duterte was charged by the ICC and arrested this year for extrajudicial killings of suspected drug dealers. Even if the people on the boats were drug dealers, killing them like this falls into “crimes against humanity” territory according to international law.

I really can’t wrap my head around all the people willing to die on this hill. He’s not the nominee. The election is a year away. There are other options. Why are people trying so hard to defend a guy with a Nazi tattoo?
So, Republicans can forgive the most lying corrupt overtly racist & sexist & greedy person ever. But Dems/progressives are willing to totally eliminate someone with a Nazi tattoo from Croatia at age 23 on someone who has NOT acted or preached neo-Nazi ideas that anyone can find. Dems are so screwed!

“You’re actually a whiny baby if you don’t want to pay more for things.”
AAA video games should cost $100 on launch. this would still be extremely cheap for the amount of time and enjoyment you get out of them! But an audience of whiny babies has kept them literally at the same price for *two decades* despite both general inflation *and* sector-specific costs rising
