Tax payer-funded private voucher schools are funded at a higher rate, and just received another bump this year while funding for public saw a $0 increase. Public schools are accountable, public schools take every student, public schools are part of the community, PUBLIC SCHOOLS UNITE US!
Instead of providing our schools the funding and resources they need to succeed, Republicans in the legislature are pushing for school consolidation.
This means bigger class sizes, less support for individual students, and longer travel for kids and parents.
