What I learned today is that the @nytopinion.nytimes.com doesn’t believe in young people of color in leadership. Time and time again people tout “seniority” and “experience”. 75 years ago, there were no women of color elected in NY. Where is “seniority” or “experience” to come from for us?

So many thoughts from attending the BK Dems Black Agenda Democratic Mayoral Forum - there were 8 candidates, 7 gave plans, policy & vision for NYC. 1 blew smoke up Black people's a** (no new ideas, no specifics, no vision 4 our city), yet the leadership was mad at protesters & their race/ethnicity
