“Rape is a crime against democracy in the most immediate sense of equality between individuals and the premise that we’re all endowed with certain inalienable rights. Most rapists operate on the premise that they can not only overpower the victim physically, but can do so socially and legally.”
...through shame, intimidation, threats, discrediting, the obscene legal instrument known as a nondisclosure agreement and a system too often run by men for men at the expense of women and children.

Delay is not neutral. It preserves the flows of capital, energy, and authority that define the existing order even as the climate destabilizes around it. We behave as though delay is the middle ground. It is not. It is a decision—and the one most likely to make every future option worse.”

At the same time the NY Times was hyping Hillary Clinton's emails, it had a reporter with emails from Jeffrey Epstein that were highly damaging to Trump.

The more NYT apologists try to minimize this the clearer it becomes that they don't understand why much of the public doesn't trust legacy media.

Not ICE. Border Patrol. They’re wearing Border Patrol uniforms with clear Border Patrol patches on them.

There are many videos of ICE officers doing outrageous stuff but a lot of the absolute worst videos are of Border Patrol, who are basically Bovino and Miller’s most aggressive tool right now.
ICE agents in Chicago violently detain a non verbal autistic man for being “non compliant”

He couldn’t “comply” because of his disability…they don’t care

This is not the first time they’ve gone after a disabled person

Time to really think about this connection between consumerism and authoritarianism. “Democracy depends on more than elections. It depends on a culture that values truth over spectacle, solidarity over self, responsibility over impulse."
A century ago, Edward Bernays taught America how to sell with emotion. From Madison Ave to MAGA rallies, we’ve become fluent in persuasion and strangers to truth. The question now is what we’ve sold of ourselves.
