Is there any writing on trans sex workers that includes trans men who are, as a friend describes his work, "cis for pay"? I know of at least two trans mascs who've presented themselves as women in a sex work context and I can't believe they're the only ones to do this.

To understand this problem, first, you have to understand the demographics of Star Trek viewers. Trekkies are and always have been men. Women are not usually interested in science fiction, but that’s doubly true of Star Trek in particular. I hear you, random guy who once knew some lady who watched every Voyager episode. I see you on Instagram, attractive girl cosplaying in Starfleet miniskirts. Unfortunately, you very cool Trek-girls are the exception, not the rule.

Baby's privacy always comes first but oh my God my daughter is the cutest baby ever and it's so hard not to share pictures when she's only a week old and I can't risk her immune system to take her out and see friends. You'll have to trust me about how precious she looks now sleeping in my arms.

After a pretty traumatic delivery, I'm finally home from the hospital! Baby is here!

Carrying and delivering her as a trans guy who is very dysphoric was incredibly tough, but she is so worth every bit of pain and struggle. Here as a reminder that being trans doesn't mean you can't become a parent.

this is so critical - the problem with these laws that theoretically criminalise buyers of sex is that either sex workers get criminalised too, or sex workers are forced to work in more dangerous situations, increasingly their likelihood of harm and the potential severity of that harm.
