Trump and Musk have plenty of money with which to hire a million-strong personal army to use against U.S. citizens.
My guess is that the FBI has a massive database of terrorist White Supremacist groups who they have deemed a danger to society.
But who Trump wants to use as a personal army.
Firing anybody who deems these groups dangerous, immediately liberates & emboldens them.

If Trump were to seize Greenland, a NATO member, under the NATO charter, NATO would be compelled to defend. This would either pit America vs NATO or force NATO to back down and dissolve.
