The President’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Program, PPFP, has been a jewel in the crown for faculty development and recruitment at the University of California for years and the results have been an expanded faculty with almost 100% tenure rates — unprecedented success.

I'm trying to stay calm. This, plus the Laken Riley legislation, will criminalize migrants for the most minor infractions and put them in a legal grey area. Twenty years of invisible human rights abuses, committed with impunity. No one will see what is happening to them there.

Border czar Tom Homan is on CNN complaining that Chicago is “very well educated” and people “know their rights” too well for ICE to be able to enforce mass deportations. Good work, neighbors.
