Seeing adult twins in public has the same energy as seeing a dalmatian. Like, I know they must exist, but sightings are rare and mystical.

everyone is invited to witness the grandeur that is the Plumbing National Championship live and in-person (if you're willing to be in West Palm Beach) next week.

especially @bencollins.bsky.social who once skeeted a very good screenshot from last year's competition.

We are looking for the “Best of the Best” to celebrate them and the entire plumbing trade with the first annual US Plumbing National Championship competition.

Been using the word "druthers" more recently, citing instances in which I might have them and what I might do should I obtain them. Not sure it's been landing with the kind of flair I'm intending.

hey not sure what happened but it seems like I actually got The Rapture'd instead of the other rapture, and the only thing that's different is I have to listen to House of Jealous Lovers on repeat.
it's not that bad, actually.

Your heart is like a knish
Unfurling in the vastness of the galaxy
And you granted my wish
Like a cosmic potato genie

been cleaning all day and have come to the conclusion that, actually, it's cool to live in filth and I think maybe we should all embrace it a little more. the crust punks were right.

You'll likely never have occasion to be there, but CID - Cedar Rapids, IA - is the cutest, sweetest little airport to ever exist. One time I was there and the Hawkeye mascot was just walking around. Charming.

Other notable tiny airports: Burbank, Tampa, Palm Beach
Actually, you know what? Let’s stop complaining for a second. QT this with a GOOD airport. Defend that title as much or as little as you like. But let’s hear about airports that don’t suck.

did you know that a juvenile red tailed hawk kinda sounds like a seagull? well, i do now after running through my apartment complex with two dogs trying to find the bird making that noise. (i saw it, it was a baby hawk, and i love it)

Local Louisville musicians keep on winning
I thank my fellow music critics for turning me on to this absolute gem, happy to admit I was sleeping. My newsletter about him and the band and indie sustainability is now one the World Wide Web for all to read www.npr.org/2025/08/06/n...
Indie rock fans, it's time to get on the Ryan Davis bandwagon
Charming critics and audiences with New Threats From The Soul, his funny, loose, reference-packed album, the veteran Louisville musician is having an unlikely breakthrough at 40 years old.

FADE IN
Several MUPPETS are walking down the street debating where to eat. FOZZIE stops them all short, points up

FOZZIE: Oh wait I know these guys! They're old family friends.

Camera pans up to show THE BEAR restaurant sign. MUPPETS enter.

RITCHIE, exuberant: COUSIN!
