My favourite bit in Blade Runner is when Harrison Ford says “I’m not a Replicant, I’m a Repli-CAN!” and then he shoots all the baddies.
Classic cinema.
If it pleases the court, I submit this evidence of why Rotten Tomatoes is a dog turd website that we should’ve stopped treating with any semblance of importance or relevance years ago.

Currently watching the live White House briefing. We truly live in a time where the loudest person in the world is also by far the stupidest.

This is likely of little interest to anyone who follows this account.
But here goes anyway.
I used to do an online DJing thing with 90’s house music. I put it on hiatus for a few years but now it’s back. Link is in the quoted post below.
Back in 2018 I was doing a DJing thing where I was mucking about with my 90’s house 12”s.
It was called Retro House Mixtape. I clocked up 100+ episodes before putting on hiatus. I’ve had the itch to DJ again so now there’s a new episode to stream. Link below

A small measure of the impact of Arc Raiders. Our regular gamer WhatsApp chat has had to spin-off a separate “Arc Traders” chat where we talk about trading mushrooms, apricots and blueprints for eff-off great big guns.

Lovely piece on the hatefulness of all this. Worth it for many little highlights, but I enjoyed the riff on a calculator that aggressively suggests sums you might want to do today.
In what's now become an annual tradition, I've written another piece for The Gist about how and why I hate A.I.

On a bubble about to burst, a future rotted to its core, and the limits of the Mrs Doyle Theory of artificial intelligence.

Crazy to believe that at one time, on a normal Friday, Twitter would be all about #FollowFriday.
These days it’s a cesspit playground for the worst people imaginable.
This does seem just a little bit bad! Idk the sort of thing you’d think politicians might distance themselves from or something!

My long, drawn out watch of Deep Space Nine (which has taken me about two years) has finally reached “In the Pale Moonlight”. What an episode!

I don’t know if I’ll get the whole lot done before it leaves Netflix on the 9th Jan.

Okay I posted this two days ago and now I don’t know how what to think about it. Seeing lots of nice posts about him though. RIP Chris Rea.

Today’s news reminded me of something.
I can’t recall which episode it is, but during The The One Show Show podcast David Walliams’s name pops up in the conversation and without any hesitation host Jon Holmes (not that one) outright says “David Walliams is a c***”.
