A study from @naturecomms.bsky.social combines #Multiomics with #MachineLearning to assess cancer risk in pulmonary nodules. The model achieves AUC 92.3%, outperforming single-omics models (clinical 57.9%, radiomic 86.7%, fragmentomics 80.5%), could reduce invasive procedures and treatment delays.
Integrated multiomics signatures to optimize the accurate diagnosis of lung cancer - Nature Communications
Diagnosis of lung cancer from indeterminate pulmonary nodules remains challenging. Here, the authors develop a multi-omics signature to identify oncogenic nodules, and prevent unnecessary procedures.
