Just found out that Mary Shelley was an animal rights advocate. No wonder the creature having no desire to harm animals felt deeply meaningful to me. It was intentionally written from a heart that cared for animals and it can be felt! (Sorry I just really care about these things 😭)

Why is my brain more focused and my body more awake throughout the entire day when I get less than 5 hours of sleep, but if I get more than that I’m just so exhausted and weak?? Most nights I make myself get more hours of sleep but what’s the point if it just makes me feel worse every time?
