I’m a film geek who talks way too much about horror, D&D, philosophy, The Cincinnati Bengals, and socialism. He/Him. I write about film at https://boxd.it/fsSV

Thomas Massie to CNN on the Epstein files: "This vote is gonna be on your record for longer than Trump is gonna be president. And what are you gonna do in 2028 and 2030 when you're in a debate … and they say, 'How can we trust you? You covered up for a pedophile back in 2025.'"

Hooting and hollering every time the camera cuts to Aaron Rodgers clearly seething under his helmet

It’s very funny to me that as an adult I have developed an interest in watching almost every major professional sport but still don’t give a shit about basketball

I do not road rage when driving. I road rage at cart traffic jams in Costco and Sam’s Club. Know what you are buying and don’t stop to gawk people!

To be a Drew McIntyre fan is to know pain. Best male wrestler in the WWE by far, should have been champion a dozen times by this point.

Very proud of Cincy for telling JD Vance’s half brother to go fuck himself

can’t tell if my antidepressants aren’t working or if they just weren’t built for this. like, zoloft was introduced in the 90s it barely needed to work then. if you got sad you could just buy a house.

Being a Bengals fan is nothing but pain. Just good and compelling enough to give you hope, only to crush it over and over again.

I’m glad we are showing that replay of Pages absolutely KOing his teammate and saving the game like 100 times. It keeps getting funnier.

I’m enjoying the games and the drama, but I honestly believe if I was a real fan of either of these teams I’d be dead from a coronary.

They should have let both teams just punch it out when they cleared the benches. It is World Series game 7, what are they gonna do, disqualify them both? Just let them fight.

Have we considered he is simply the greatest to ever do it?

These Steelers uniforms might be the ugliest uniform I’ve ever seen
October 27, 2025 at 2:25 AM
Why didn’t the Bengals simply beat the Jets, like every other team has this season? Are they stupid? (The answer is yes, at least Zac Taylor is and we are stupid for not firing him)

Really bummed I have been so busy this month I have barely gotten to watch any horror films to really relish the spookiest time of year

The president got his feelings hurt, so we're doing 10% more tariffs on Canada. Joke of an administration.

Once we accept that The Crow is one of the best movies of all time, we will heal as a society
Evening viewing recommendation? On Watch THE CROW (1994). Seductively grungy, operatically stylized thriller-in our '90s Soundtrack Movies collection! The darkly ravishing goth aesthetic is perfectly complimented by a soundtrack that includes The Cure, The Jesus and Mary Chain, RATM, NIN & more.

Sorry to everything else that came out this year, nothing is touching One Battle After Another. #filmsky #moviesky

A ★★★★★ review of One Battle After Another (2025)
An ode to the power of mutual aid, the spirit of revolution, the power of hope in a bleak and incredibly familiar dystopia of violence and prejudice, and the utter vile patheticness of fascists. One B...

A ★★★½ review of Shelby Oaks (2024)
Hardly an unbiased review because I have been watching Chris Stuckmann since like 2014. Seeing his journey from starting up YouTuber to the most popular YouTube film reviewer to now a filmmaker has be...

The numbers I am seeing, and the breadth of people and places with basically no arrests and so forth, seem to me an unqualified political loss for them. It is a show of strength rather than the fight itself, but you can’t downplay it.

Feel like a lot of people will probably hate it, but Black Phone 2 got under my skin a LOT and had some of the boldest, most memorable horror filmmaking I have seen this year. It’s a messy but ambitious sequel, but a great time. The Super8 dream sequences are unnervingly delightful.
