Honestly been one of the bleakest weeks in recent memory. Not giving up, but hard to have any sort of hope for the world. Trying to focus all my energy into this wonderful love bug of a special needs kitty we adopted last week. His name is Bean.

This mindset is something I can’t understand. The fanficification of art, not wanting anything out of it other than to satisfy fan expectations. It isn’t creating meaning or an emotional response. Fandom has evolved into something strange, just wanting their story boxes checked.

What’s the worst movie you have ever seen in theaters? For me, it is God’s Not Dead. Why would I ever see this anti-intellectual piece of Christo-fascist propaganda? Well, my dad suggested we see it bc his pastor recommended it, and it was Father’s Day. I gritted my teeth the entire time.
