Beautiful day for a protest
The only thing getting squeezed in this fantasy of his is everyday Americans. The “market” doesn’t care about people, it only cares about profit, and healthcare should not be for profit. It’s not that complicated.
Cassidy: "If she goes and gets 2 types of shampoo & one is a dollar cheaper, she'll get the cheaper one & the other lowers their price. Once you give her the power of making the decision, she's gonna shop -- that begins to save her money and squeezes waste out of the healthcare system."

This isn’t a sea change event, the fix is in.
The Epstein Files bill that passed today allows Pam Bondi to withhold or redact ANY material.

Let me tell you about the other Epstein files the Trump administration is STILL HIDING — records that aren’t affected by the bill Congress passed today.

Remarkable to watch a woman and a former journalist refuse to defend another female journalist.
GOP Rep. Salazar won't criticize Trump calling a woman reporter "piggy" -- "President Trump is a very different type of politician. But I always say I look at his policies and not his personality. Nobody is perfect."

Will be interesting to see if SCOTUS agrees that Texas changed the map to satisfy a race-based demand from the Trump DOJ or not.
Trump appointed Harmeet Dhillon to the Justice Department so she could own the libs and sue DEI out of existence. But she is a bad lawyer! And her utter incompetence is the main reason why a conservative Trump judge just struck down the racist Texas gerrymander. slate.com/news-and-pol...

Expect to be underwhelmed and/or frustrated with what comes next.
You might not have caught what just happened on the Senate floor, but the Senate just “deemed as passed” the Epstein resolution.

That means as soon as it arrives from the House, it automatically passes the Senate (with no amendments) and heads to the President’s desk.

Wow.

Coons on Epstein files: "My hunch is that AG Bondi, having just been ordered on social media by the president to open an investigation into a series of high-profile Dems, will promptly say, 'No, there's an ongoing investigation, we can't disclose any of this,' and the president will back that up."

He can impose tariffs and murder on the open seas, but needs a vote to release some files?
Trump: "House Republicans should vote to release the Epstein files, because we have nothing to hide."
