No free bus fares, but at least we got a ring beam!
The building of new Nissan Stadium took a significant step last Friday when a crew, led by construction manager Tennessee Builders Alliance, installed the final piece of the “ring beam” that shapes the structure's circular roof.

WASHINGTON NEEDS A SHAKE-UP

The same career politicians who caused the shutdown are now playing games with your health care. Eight Senate Democrats just cut a deal—but Speaker Johnson still refuses to hold a vote to protect ACA subsidies. Tennessee can change that on Dec. 2.

if you genuinely think Schumer and Democratic leadership opposed this & Republicans coincidentally got exactly the number of votes they needed to avoid a filibuster and none of those votes are from Democratic Senators who are up for reelection in the midterms next year, I have a bridge to sell you.

The fact that none of the 8 Dems are up for re-election in 2026 is a pretty good sign @schumer.senate.gov engineered the surrender

I worked with him and can confirm. Bless this woman who suffered him, I hope she speaks out more publicly.
Wow — the self-proclaimed ex-wife of TN-7 Republican nominee Matt Van Epps calls him a “complete moron” & “emotionally abusive” & “a robot who does nothing but repeat Fox News rhetoric”

More of this, please! And less reposting of nonsense Epstein theories that are clearly false.
MY PLAN TO LOWER COSTS

My opponent says he’ll lower costs, but hasn’t said how. Here are three things I can do within the first year as your Congresswoman to lower costs for working families. Healthcare and groceries shouldn’t force you into debt.

Y‘all, what am I missing here? My understanding is that Grijalva’s vote is number 218, which is just over half of 435, a simple majority to release the files. This race has no bearing on the vote at all.

So why is @aftynbehn.bsky.social retweeting this nonsense? What am I missing?
Please donate to @aftynbehn.bsky.social if you can!
This is an extremely important Special Election in Nashville TN’s 7th, on 12/2/2025 and the difference between getting the Epstein Files released or not.
Aftyn Behn is a sitting member of the TN House currently and would be amazing in Congress! 👇

If I wasn’t boycotting Target already, this would absolutely inspire me to do so. Do not talk to me, Target employee! I am here to wander with my thoughts and look at useless items I will never actually buy.
"Store employees are now required to smile if they are within 10 feet of a shopper.

They also must make eye contact with and wave to or greet the customer.

If they’re within four feet, the employee should ask how the customer’s day is going or if they need help."

🙄 Won't stop the boycott, y'all.
Target is now requiring its employees to smile more
As the holiday season fast approaches, Target is urging its employees to add a little more “jolly” to their work routine.

I'm an Aftyn supporter, but this is nonsense. Grijalva is the 218th vote whether Behn wins or not. This comes across as dishonest, at least to me. We expect this sort of fearmongering from Republicans, not Democrats.
👀 WOW — “Speaker Johnson is stalling Grijalva until Van Epps gets there to cancel out her vote?”

TN-7 nominee @aftynbehn.bsky.social tells us Johnson plans for Van Epps to help him cover up the Epstein files. (His weak answer to NC5 is another clue🕵️ )

Matt "Just say deliberate" Van Epps.

I worked with this guy. He's the absolute definition of a yes man, and he's clearly gotten his orders on this. The amount of pure loser behavior on display here is embarrassing. Good thing people like him have no shame.

We need @aftynbehn.bsky.social to win.
Absolutely hilarious answer from Van Epps, calling Trump & Johnson’s Epstein files cover-up “a deliberative approach” 🤔

Matt clearly got Trump’s support in TN-7 because he will cover for pedophiles also. This was embarrassing👇🏽

( @aftynbehn.bsky.social is a vote to release the files)

This was my experience last night. Ended up at a small party at the home of the parents of one of my kid’s friends. Met a bunch of other parents I didn’t know, kids went out in a pack to trick or treat, and a good time was had by all.
I feel like I say this every year but I really need people to hear it. Halloween is the best American holiday. Just kids outside welcomed into their world, marching around together, showing off their costumes to the elderly, parents meeting parents, neighbors catching up with neighbors.

More of this from Democrats, please. We accept their framing without question far too often.
I love how Rep. Joe Neguse reframed this question.

This is a wild argument. The Saudi people didn't pay her, the murderous, awful govt did. No way she's this stupid.

No one should have done this festival, but if you did, your best course of action is to STFU about it forever. There's no reasonable justification, you just wanted the paycheck.
Calling people “racist” for criticizing comedians taking the Saudi Blood government’s money is certainly one way to go about it.

The criticism was never of the Saudi people. But Whitney knows that. www.thewrap.com/whitney-cumm...

This seems like a nonsensical position until you realize that they do not expect to ever have a fair election again. They aren’t worried about accountability because they don’t plan on ever facing any.
Lol I didn’t realize Johnson had already gone on record with this fucking disastrous bullshit. What in the world are they actually even thinking? It’s mind boggling.
Johnson: "It's true that in previous shutdowns, many or most furloughed employees have been paid for the time they were furloughed, but there is new legal analysis - I don't know the details, I just saw a headline - but there are some legal analysts saying that might not be appropriate or necessary"

In any other country, if federal agents fired upon journalists when unprovoked — what would we call it?

If federal agents marched down streets demanding papers — what would we say?

Authoritarianism — let’s not pretend it’s something else when it happens in our American cities.
